How it works

Three steps. About ten seconds.

A simple flow on the surface, with a careful 10-stage pipeline doing the work underneath.

01
Step 1

Paste or upload your draft

Drop in .txt, .docx, or .pdf, or paste straight from your clipboard. Bypassify extracts the text server-side so heavy parsers never ship to your browser.

Files up to 5 MB are supported. Citations, quotes, code, and URLs are detected before anything else happens so the engine knows what to leave alone.

02
Step 2

Pick your strength and tone

Light for a polish, Balanced for most essays, Aggressive when the draft still reads too artificial. Pair it with Academic, Neutral, or Casual tone.

Strength controls how often each transform fires. Tone steers contractions, hedges, and the openers the engine prefers when it restructures a sentence.

03
Step 3

Review, copy, ship

Compare side-by-side, switch to inline diff, or jump to clean output. Copy to clipboard, download as .txt, or rely on the auto-saved history to come back later.

Every run lands in your private history with the options you used. Nothing is shared, indexed, or visible to anyone else.

Original draft

An AI-style passage with stock connectors, em-dashes, and uniform cadence.

Engine pipeline

Phrase swaps, nominalization fixes, sentence reordering, burstiness boost, and citation guard run in sequence.

Humanized output

Same meaning, different rhythm. Quotes and citations preserved exactly as you wrote them.
