Terms of Service

Bypassify ("Bypassify", "we", "our", "us") provides a web application at bypassify.online that rewrites text in a more natural, human-sounding voice. By creating an account, accessing, or using the service in any way (including free access) you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Any detector scores, percentages, before/after examples, star ratings, or review counts shown on our marketing pages, blog, or social channels are illustrative examples from internal tests on specific inputs at a specific point in time. They are not a promise, warranty, or guarantee of any specific result for your text.

AI detectors are third-party products that update their models frequently and without notice. Detection outcomes depend on your input, the detector version, the length and topic of the text, and factors we do not control. We do not guarantee that any output produced by Bypassify will bypass, evade, or achieve any particular score on any AI detector, plagiarism checker, or institutional review. You accept this risk when you use the service.

Our in-app Risk Meter is an internal heuristic estimate only. It is not a detector, it is not affiliated with or validated by Turnitin, GPTZero, Copyleaks, ZeroGPT, Originality.ai or any other provider, and a low internal score does not mean a third-party detector will agree. Detector names are used solely for descriptive, comparative purposes and imply no partnership, endorsement, or certification.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and all outputs are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. No statement — whether made by our staff, our website, our support channels, or an automated response — creates any warranty beyond this section. We are not liable for any academic penalty, disciplinary action, failed submission, rejected work, lost marks, retracted publication, employment consequence, or reputational harm arising from your use of the service or from any detector, institution, or reviewer’s assessment of your text. Responsibility for what you submit, and to whom, is entirely yours.

Bypassify is intended for legitimate educational assistance, improving writing skills, and creating original, human-sounding content that reflects your own work and ideas. You agree to use it only in ways that comply with your school, college, or institution's academic integrity policies, honor codes, and any course-specific rules set by your instructor.

The tool is not to be used for any malicious or dishonest purpose, including misrepresenting work that is not your own, submitting AI-generated material in violation of your institution's rules, evading lawful detection of plagiarism or academic misconduct, defrauding others, or producing content intended to mislead, harass, defame, or deceive.

You are solely responsible for how you use the output. If your institution prohibits AI assistance for a given assignment, you must not use Bypassify for that assignment. Bypassify is not liable for any academic, disciplinary, professional, employment, immigration, or legal consequences that follow from your use of the output.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bypassify. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your country (16 in most of the EU/UK, 18 in many other places), you may use the service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using Bypassify you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for the activity under your account, for keeping your password secure, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You must not share your account, sell it, transfer it, or let another person use it. Tell us promptly at bypassify.ai@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised use. A paid subscription is tied to the account email you signed up with and can be managed from Settings → Billing.

Bypassify offers paid subscriptions: Pro at $3.99 / month and Ultra at $6.99 / month, billed monthly in advance. Prices are shown in US dollars; your card is charged in your local currency at your bank's exchange rate. Prices, plans, and feature allocations may change; changes to your existing plan take effect at the next renewal.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo handles card capture, receipts, taxes (VAT / GST / sales tax where applicable), and PCI-compliant storage of payment details — we never see or store your card number. Receipts are emailed automatically after each successful charge.

Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month until you cancel. If a renewal fails we will retry for a short grace period before pausing paid features; you can update your payment method any time from Settings → Billing.

You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period — you keep all Pro or Ultra features until then, and no further charges are made after that. There is no cancellation fee and no reactivation fee.

Because paid access continues through the period you have already paid for, we do not offer partial-month refunds by default. If you were charged in error (double charge, unrecognised renewal within 7 days of the charge, or the wrong plan was chosen at checkout), email bypassify.ai@gmail.com and we will make it right. Approved refunds are issued through Dodo to the original payment method and typically settle within 5–10 business days. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory refund or withdrawal rights you may have under your local consumer law.

Chargebacks are handled through Dodo's standard dispute process. Please contact us first — we can almost always resolve issues faster than a chargeback. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account termination.

You agree not to, and not to allow any third party to:

• Use Bypassify to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Use the service in a way that violates any academic integrity policy, honor code, exam rule, professional licensing rule, or admissions rule that applies to you.
• Generate, upload, or submit content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Use the service to produce disinformation, impersonate a real person, or misrepresent authorship of work in a fraudulent context (e.g. contracts, court filings, insurance claims, medical records, government submissions).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, crawl, benchmark, or extract training data from the service, its models, or its underlying providers.
• Probe, load-test, DoS, brute-force, or otherwise interfere with the service, our infrastructure, or other users; or bypass any rate limit, quota, or authentication.
• Resell, sublicense, white-label, or expose the service through your own product, API, or wrapper without our written permission.
• Share, sell, or transfer your account credentials, or create accounts by automated means.

We may investigate suspected violations, remove offending content, throttle or suspend access, and cooperate with law enforcement where required.

You retain ownership of the text you submit ("Input") and the text we produce for you ("Output"). You grant Bypassify a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, transmit, and display your Input and Output solely as needed to (a) provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service to you, (b) comply with law, and (c) enforce these Terms. We do not sell your text and we do not use it to train third-party foundation models.

You represent that you have all rights needed to submit the Input, that it does not infringe any third-party right, and that you are responsible for how you use the Output. You may delete drafts any time from History; account deletion removes your drafts and settings within 30 days from active storage and from backups on the normal backup rotation.

The Bypassify name, logo, site design, code, and content (excluding your Input and Output) are owned by Bypassify and its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right in our marks or trade dress. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation.

The service relies on third-party providers (including model providers such as Groq, our managed backend, Dodo Payments, and email infrastructure). Their availability, changes, or errors may affect the service. We are not liable for third-party outages or third-party terms you agree to separately. Any links to external sites are provided for convenience only.

We work hard to keep Bypassify available, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uptime, or that the service will meet your requirements. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Features labelled beta, preview, or experimental may be changed or removed without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bypassify and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, reputation, academic standing, professional standing, or opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you actually paid to Bypassify in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bypassify, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your Input or Output, (b) your use or misuse of the service, (c) your violation of these Terms, (d) your violation of any third-party right (including any academic-integrity rule, licence, or law), or (e) your negligence or wilful misconduct.

You can close your account any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, used the service to cause harm, exposed us to legal or security risk, or repeatedly initiated chargebacks. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, licences already granted, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution) survive.

If you believe content on Bypassify infringes your copyright, send a written notice to bypassify.ai@gmail.com including: (i) your contact information, (ii) identification of the copyrighted work, (iii) the URL or description of the allegedly infringing material, (iv) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised, (v) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act on the rightsholder's behalf, and (vi) your physical or electronic signature. We may remove content and terminate repeat infringers.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the service are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and, to the extent applicable, by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

Informal resolution. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at bypassify.ai@gmail.com and give us thirty (30) days to attempt a good-faith resolution.

Binding arbitration & class-action waiver (where enforceable). Where permitted by law, any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be finally resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court, and you and Bypassify each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. Small-claims court claims and requests for injunctive relief to protect intellectual property are excluded from this section. If this section is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, disputes will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Doha, Qatar, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer right you have under your local law.

You may not use the service if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or a national of a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions (currently including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Russia-occupied regions of Ukraine), or if you are on any restricted-party list maintained by the US, UK, EU, or UN.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change we will announce it in-app or by email at least seven (7) days before it takes effect (except for changes required for legal or security reasons, which take effect immediately). Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Bypassify regarding the service and supersede any prior agreement. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Notices to us should be sent to bypassify.ai@gmail.com.

Bypassify stores data in your browser only where it is necessary to provide the service: your authentication session (so you stay signed in), your saved preferences, your answer to the cookie notice, and the security or delivery cookies set by our hosting and payment providers. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels or third-party profiling analytics.

Because all of this storage is strictly necessary, declining in the notice records your preference but does not remove the session and preference entries the service needs to function. You may clear site data in your browser at any time; doing so signs you out. The full inventory is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Free and paid plans include usage allowances. You must not attempt to circumvent them, including by scripting the interface, calling internal endpoints directly, manipulating client-side requests, or creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free usage. We meter usage server-side and may suspend accounts that attempt to bypass these limits.

Bypassify offers two products: the Humanizer and the Rewriter. Each has its own free tier and its own paid plans, and a paid plan for one product does not grant access to the paid features, word caps or quotas of the other. Where a plan is described as unlimited, it remains subject to the fair-use and anti-abuse rules in these Terms. Prices, word caps and included features may change on notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

We publish official Bypassify clients — the Firefox extension, the Chrome/Edge extension package, the Microsoft Word task pane, and the versioned integration API. These are part of the service and are covered by these Terms and by your plan entitlements: every request they make is metered, quota-checked and word-capped server-side exactly as the website is.

You must not redistribute modified builds of our extensions or add-in, present them as your own, or use our API credentials on behalf of another person or product without our written permission. Extensions only act on text you select or paste, and only when you run a command. If your browser or Microsoft removes or restricts an extension surface, we may discontinue that client without discontinuing the service.
