Terms of Service

Bypassify ("we", "our", "us") provides a web application that helps users rewrite text in a more natural, human-sounding voice. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

Bypassify is intended for legitimate educational assistance, improving writing skills, and creating original, human-sounding content that reflects your own work and ideas. You agree to use it only in ways that comply with your school, college, or institution's academic integrity policies, honor codes, and any course-specific rules set by your instructor.

The tool is not to be used for any malicious or dishonest purposes, including but not limited to: misrepresenting work that is not your own, submitting AI-generated material in violation of your institution's rules, evading lawful detection of plagiarism or academic misconduct, defrauding others, or producing content intended to mislead, harass, defame, or deceive.

You are solely responsible for how you use the output. If your institution prohibits AI assistance for a given assignment, you must not use Bypassify for that assignment.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Bypassify.

You're responsible for the activity under your account, for keeping your password secure, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. Tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use. A paid subscription is tied to the account email you signed up with and can be managed at any time from Settings → Billing.

Bypassify offers paid subscriptions: Pro at $3.99 / month and Ultra at $6.99 / month, billed monthly in advance. Prices are shown in US dollars; your card is charged in your local currency at your bank's exchange rate.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo handles card capture, receipts, taxes (VAT / GST / sales tax where applicable), and PCI-compliant storage of payment details — we never see or store your card number. Receipts are emailed automatically after each successful charge; reply to any receipt if you need it re-issued in a different name or with a VAT / tax number.

Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month until you cancel. If a renewal fails, we'll retry for a short grace period before pausing paid features; you can update your payment method any time from Settings → Billing.

You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period — you keep all Pro or Ultra features until then, and no further charges are made after that. There is no cancellation fee and no reactivation fee if you decide to come back later.

Because paid access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for, we don't offer partial-month refunds by default. If you were charged by mistake (double charge, unrecognised renewal within 7 days of the charge, wrong plan chosen at checkout), email us and we'll make it right — refunds are issued back through Dodo to the original payment method and typically settle within 5–10 business days.

Chargebacks are handled through Dodo's standard dispute process. If you believe a charge is unauthorised, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a chargeback.

You agree not to:

• Use Bypassify to violate any law or third-party right.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
• Use the service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit involving minors.
• Resell, sublicense, or expose the service via your own product without permission.

You own the text you submit and the text we produce for you. You grant us a limited licence to process and store it so that we can provide the service to you. We do not sell your text and we do not use it to train any third-party model.

We work hard to keep Bypassify available, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bypassify is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any academic, professional, or disciplinary outcomes resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, or (b) USD 50.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. You can close your account any time from the Settings page.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app.
